PALAZZO GRIMANI

This palazzo reopened to the public in 2008 after many years of restoration. It was the residence of the noble Grimani family from the 16th century, and is unique in Venice because of its very original architecture, which incorporates Tuscan and Roman elements into the Venetian environment.
Of particular note are the tribuna where the Grimani archaeological collection can be seen, the courtyard, the monumental staircase and the fine 16th century frescoes.
